Not at all — that's literally what we're here for. Every workout is scaled to your ability. We have members who couldn't run 400m when they started and are now competing. The only requirement is showing up.
You'll come in, meet a coach, and we'll walk you through what to expect. The class is coached throughout — no one will throw you in at the deep end. Most people say afterwards they wish they'd come sooner.
You might be — and that's fine. Every single one of our members was a beginner once. The culture at Motion is to support each other, not compare. The last person to finish always gets the loudest cheer.
Fundamentals is a short intro course (2 sessions) where you learn the key movements in a small group. We ask all new members to complete it before joining regular classes. It makes a huge difference.
In most cases, yes. Our coaches are trained to modify movements and will work with you rather than around you. Just let us know before class.
